So this week we are discussing the difference between transformational and transactional leadership styles. Transformational being more of a motivational leader while transactional is more of a ddisciplined leader. I find myself in the transformational leadership roll. I am not the most organized and disciplined person, while I get things done I do not have a specific method for doing things. I am always looking for new ways of doing things and ready to learn from those around me.
My style of leadership could help my school by finding new methods to do tasks and help others explore their own abilities to problem solve out of the box.
Your description of yourself describes me too. During my first year of teaching, my desk was a mess. It was only "clean" like 5 days throughout the year. I would always get my work done, but when it came to straightening up and organizing my desk, I always would find better things to work on other than that.
